XCITER FIELD GUIDE
Sports nutrition is easier to choose when you separate the job from the product. Start with the session, choose a format you will actually use, and practise the plan in training before relying on it in an event.
Decide whether the priority is carbohydrate fuel, hydration and electrolytes, post-session recovery, or a specific supplement.
Gels are compact, drinks can combine fluid and fuel, bars add solid texture, and tablets make hydration easy to carry. Personal tolerance matters.
Use key training sessions to learn what you tolerate, how easy products are to carry and consume, and whether caffeine belongs in your plan.
Xciter curates endurance nutrition from specialist brands including Maurten, NamedSport and 32Gi. The range covers race fuel, hydration, recovery products and selected supplements for runners, cyclists and triathletes.
Use the filters above to narrow the range by need and brand. Where Xciter displays structured carbohydrate or caffeine figures, those figures have been separately verified. If a legacy claim is still being checked, we would rather leave it blank than make a confident-looking guess.
Fuel products primarily help provide energy, usually through carbohydrate. Hydration products focus on fluid and electrolyte replacement. Some products can do both, so choose according to the main job you need the product to perform.
Choose the format you can comfortably carry, consume and tolerate at the intensity of your session. Gels are compact, drinks are easy to sip progressively, and bars provide a solid-food option for athletes who prefer texture.
Caffeine is optional, not a requirement for endurance performance. If you use it, test the product in training, consider your total caffeine intake from other sources, and choose a non-caffeinated option if caffeine does not suit you.
Xciter is cleaning older catalogue content and only exposes structured numerical claims when the value has been verified. Products can still be shopped by need and brand while a legacy fact is being reconciled.
Race day is a poor time to discover that a flavour, texture or intake pattern does not work for you. Test your intended products and routine during training first.
