What Makes D’Arcs Sunglasses Different?
D’Arcs offers both performance and lifestyle sunglasses, with different frame designs and lens technologies developed for different light conditions and types of use.
Rather than choosing on lens colour alone, consider where you will wear the sunglasses, how securely they need to fit and whether you need glare reduction, enhanced contrast or a lens that responds to changing light.
Polycarbonate Construction and UV Protection
Every D’Arcs model in Xciter’s current range uses durable polycarbonate construction and provides 100% UV protection.
Individual models offer different frame shapes, fit features and lens technologies, so compare the product details rather than assuming every D’Arcs model performs in exactly the same way.
Aura HD Lens Technology
D’Arcs Aura HD lenses are designed to enhance contrast and visible detail, helping contours and changes in the surrounding environment appear more defined.
Aura HD lens options are available across selected Dawn, Dice, Peak and Vantage models. The colour and finish differ between products, so choose according to the conditions in which you will use them and the look you prefer.
Photochromic and Aura REACT Lenses
Photochromic lenses adapt as ambient light changes, becoming darker in brighter conditions and clearer when less light is available.
The D’Arcs Vivid uses an Aura REACT photochromic lens, while photochromic options are also available in selected Peak and Vantage II models. These are useful choices for outdoor activities that move between changing light conditions.
Polarised Lenses
Polarised lenses help reduce reflected glare from surfaces such as roads, water and other bright environments.
The D’Arcs Jade combines a Polarised Purple Gradient lens with an easy-wearing lifestyle frame, making it relevant for customers who want everyday styling together with glare reduction.
Revo Lens Finishes
D’Arcs Revo lenses use mirrored finishes to create distinctive lens colours and sport-focused styling. Revo options are available in colours such as Red, Blue and Gold across selected models.
A Revo finish does not automatically mean that a lens is polarised or photochromic. Check the individual product information when one of those specific lens technologies is important to you.
Secure and Adaptable Fit Features
Fit features differ between D’Arcs models. Selected performance frames use adjustable rubberised nosepieces, rubberised temple tips or other secure contact points to help the sunglasses remain comfortably positioned during movement.
The Peak range adds a removable lower frame, an additional nosepiece and compatibility with a D’Arcs optic insert for prescription lenses. The optic insert is sold separately.
Which D’Arcs Sunglasses Are Right for You?
Everyday and Lifestyle Wear
For everyday outdoor use, start with the D’Arcs Jade or Dice.
The Jade combines a distinctive Clear Purple frame with a polarised gradient lens that helps reduce reflected glare. Dice models offer easy-wearing lifestyle frames with rubberised contact points and Aura HD lenses that enhance contrast and detail.
Sport and Active Outdoor Use
For running, cycling and other active outdoor use, consider models such as the Dawn, Tundra, Vantage or Verge.
The Dawn combines an adjustable rubberised nosepiece and secure temple tips with an Aura HD lens. Vantage models offer a streamlined sport shape and adjustable nosepiece, while Verge provides rubberised contact points and a choice of Revo lens colours. The Tundra offers a straightforward polycarbonate sport design with a bold Red Revo finish.
Changing Light Conditions
If your activities regularly move between shade and brighter sunlight, consider a photochromic model.
The Vivid combines an Aura REACT photochromic lens with an adjustable nosepiece and ventilation openings that help promote airflow. The Matte Brown Peak and both Vantage II lens options also use photochromic technology that responds as ambient light changes.
Adaptable Frames and Prescription Compatibility
The D’Arcs Peak range is the most adaptable option in the current collection.
Peak models include a removable lower frame, an additional nosepiece and compatibility with a D’Arcs optic insert for prescription lenses. Lens choices include Red Revo Smoke, Aura HD Blue Revo and Photochromic options, allowing customers to select the version best suited to their preferred conditions and use.
